No one has shaped Copenhagen more than Christian IV. He reigned for almost sixty years, built towers, an exchange and whole districts – and put his monogram on all of it. The route runs from the City Hall Square through the pedestrian streets to Slotsholmen. You meet a writer gazing at Tivoli, golden apples in a fountain, a tower without stairs and the bishop who founded the city.
