Paris was born on an island in the Seine. This tour takes you from the kings' palace at the Louvre, across the city's oldest bridge and out onto the Île de la Cité, home of Notre-Dame and France's point zero.
None of the puzzles can be solved from the sofa. You have to count pyramids, read a plinth, find a clock from the fourteenth century and search for a bronze plate in the ground.
Good to know
The whole route is outdoors and can be walked at any hour. The square in front of Notre-Dame may be partly closed off during events; if so, use "Check in without GPS". Flat and easy walking.
