A sainted king, a dead horse, a spinning head and a house that dances – modern Prague.

The New Town of Prague is where the great upheavals took place: 1918, 1968 and 1989. The tour runs from Wenceslas Square to the river. You have to compare two riders, count saints, read a date in bronze and work out what a building is in the middle of doing.

Good to know

The arcade with the horse is inside a shopping passage that closes at night. Otherwise the route is out in the streets. Flat.
