Stockholm, November 1520. King Christian II has invited Sweden's leading men to a feast at the castle – and locked the doors. Over two days more than eighty of them are beheaded on Stortorget. The scribe Olof kept the list of the condemned. The night before they came for him too, he hid it in the city and left marks only his apprentices can read. You are the apprentices. Every stop gives you a letter, and in the end the name of the one person who can use the list. Olof and the apprentices are made up. The bloodbath, the places and everything you see and count along the way are real.

Good to know

Walk it in daylight – several puzzles have to be read off walls, gates and statues. Cobbles all the way and a couple of slopes. Bring two phones if you can: the note at stop 3 is torn in two.
