Every year on 10 December the world turns its eyes to Stockholm: the Nobel Prizes are presented in the Concert Hall, followed by a banquet in the City Hall. This route ties the two places together – and takes in warrior kings, a murder at the opera and a parliament on its own island along the way.
This is the city's longest adventure. Wear good shoes and keep the pace up.
